Oases Online is the broader product. It covers tutor matching, contracts, a storefront and payroll for tutoring companies, and it starts higher. Halqora is narrower and suits online academies that need a built-in classroom and per-student currencies.
Halqora is our product. We’ve tried to keep this comparison fair: competitor details come from their public pages, checked on the date shown. Tell us if anything is out of date at support@halqora.com.
Halqora vs Oases Online: the short answer
Oases Online describes itself as software for tutoring companies, test prep and language centers, and franchises, according to its FAQs as of 21 October 2026. It aims at a business that recruits and matches tutors, signs contracts and markets through a storefront. Those are jobs Halqora does not do.
Halqora is management software for online academies and tutoring businesses from Talt AI; Murouj Academy runs on it. It schedules, bills and calculates teacher pay for one-to-one classes, and the classroom is part of the product.
Where Oases Online is stronger
Oases offers tutor matching by qualifications, skills, location, availability and tags. It also lists a storefront, web forms, e-signature contracts and bulk email and SMS. A tutoring company that recruits and sells to the public needs tools like these, and Halqora has none of them.
Its pricing page shows tiers by active student and an Enterprise route above 350 students. New customers get complimentary onboarding sessions with support, per its FAQs. Oases also links API documentation from its footer, so check whether your integration needs are already covered.
The matrix on the comparison hub shows the rest. We could not find a Quran viewer, silent observation, Wise matching or per-person time zones on Oases’s public pages. That is not proof it lacks them; ask if they matter to you.
Price and trial
Oases starts at $99 a month for up to 25 active students. Halqora’s Starter plan is USD 39 a month for the same student count, and Academy is USD 2.50 per active student with a USD 99 minimum. The two products include different things, so compare the work each one removes rather than the starting price.
We could not find a free trial on the Oases pricing page; it leads to a live demo. Halqora offers a 14-day pilot with free onboarding and data import.
Classroom, currencies and teacher pay
Oases connects to Lessonspace and Pencil Spaces for video and whiteboard, or you paste a meeting link. That is a legitimate model if you already use one of those tools. Halqora’s classroom is built in, with video, a whiteboard, synced PDF books and screen share annotation, and admins can observe silently with consent on file.
Halqora gives each student a currency and never converts invoices. We could not find per-student currencies on the Oases accounting pages.
Oases pays teachers by approved sessions with pay groups and rates. Halqora derives pay from the recorded class outcome: up to 2 minutes late is free, 3 to 5 minutes costs a flat 5% of that class’s pay, and beyond that each minute late costs a minute of pay. Student no-shows pay in full after the teacher waits at least half the class. Halqora’s rules are fixed in this version.
Choose Oases Online if…
Choose Oases when you run a tutoring company that matches tutors to families, wants a storefront and contracts, and values a broad feature set. Choose it when your teachers already use a partner video and whiteboard tool.
Choose Halqora if…
Choose Halqora when you run an online academy of one-to-one live classes and want scheduling, a built-in classroom, invoicing, payment matching and teacher pay in one place. It fits best when families in several currencies need invoices that are never converted, and when your teacher-pay policy matches the fixed rules.
